I'm not sure I've felt so differently from critics in my existence. I found this movie to endlessly keep me guessing, as I never knew where it was headed, as well as relentlessly hilarious. The scene where they discover the road and look 3 separate times at the 2 sides of the road, as well as the subsequent and ...passionate...marking of territory...phenomenally hilarious.

I've heard nothing but negative reviews and comments about this film. Keep thinking I'll hear someone say it's misunderstood but nothing so far. Thank you Alonso & Christy for your review!

Some of the greatest characters in fury road included the tactility of raw and real engineered vehicles, real cars real explosions. If you remove the real cars and real explosions then an essential character of the max franchise is missing.

I wanna go see this because I like everybody involved, but I just find pregnancy humor inherently unfunny because it tends to be so over the top. A lot of the scenes in the trailer give off “what to expect when you’re expecting” vibes and I’m just not into it. Does the rest of the film make up for it?

That film was AWFUL. Three vapid, empty vessels sharing zero chemistry with each other. 147 slow-zooms in 139 minutes set to generic EDM. Repetitive shots. Terrible camera angles. Morally bankrupt motivations. Everything about this film felt amateurish. My biggest disagreement with you both to date!

I've never understood the appeal of the biopic. Most of them look like shit to me and stuff that could probably get explored better in a documentary. Not that there have never been "good biopics", there has been some of course, but for the most part I find them incredibly unappealing. Saw the trailer for this the other day and I honestly thought it was a comedy sketch. I thought it was a SNL bit where they made fun of music biopics rather than an actual movie.

Very excited but hesitant about two new Shogun seasons. The first season turned out to be one of the best shows I've ever seen. EVER. It's a hard act to follow, as you both felt about Furiosa follwing Fury Road. More but different?, or more of the same? Damned if you, damned if you don't. The bar is set so high, the expectations are incredibly hard to meet.

well, I mean there's original Mad Max and Beyond Thunder Dome 2 films that even in a marathon always get a shrug. You either pass on them or you love them. And it feels like this is that..... not even Happy Feet or Babe films here. I still want to see it, GUZALINE!

I liked Fury Road a lot, but I never thought it was one of the greatest action movies of all time. So, I hope I won't be disappointed in it, since it doesn't have these huge expectations to fill for me as it did with Alonso.
